A Bit of History
Gondola Hotel & Suites started with a pioneering idea in 1981. At that time, the founders were looking for an idea that would help them serve in an innovative way the needs of an increasing number of visitors to Jordan, who couldn't stand staying in small hotel rooms during their long business trips to the area. Add to that the unbearable costs of renting a furnished apartment or a usual hotel room for an extended period of time.
After a careful study of market demand we found that the best way to serve the needs of the market was to establish a home-type hotel, or an "Apartotel".
At that time the idea was a pioneering one and there was nobody in the sector providing such services. Thus the "Gondola Apartotel" was born.
Our customers vary. They can be single, couples, or families. Gondola accommodates all types of customers and needs. We have studios consisting of a bedroom, bath, and a kitchen with a nice living area. Or suites which, consist of a twin bedroom, living room, a kitchen and a bath, in addition to a balcony with a charming view of the city. For larger families or groups we also have suites that consist of two bedrooms in addition to all the other facilities that our guests would need.
Now, and after almost 25 years in business, we are happy to report that our idea has found tremendous success as our guests testify. Our clientele includes many respected and well-known businesses and organizations in and outside of Jordan.
Superior service, high quality, and our great location in the modern part of Amman are all factors that contributed to our success.
